We are a young company – founded in spring 2016. Regular travelling to Kiev convinced the founder that there is a need for a new service: Booking a taxi ride in advance online often results in much higher prices in comparison with what is accessible for local people. The founder didn’t want to use the services of those drivers desperately waiting for clients at the airport due to language barriers. In addition, there was sometimes disappointment about quality of service.
The founder also realized that many foreigners travelling to Kiev may appreciate Swiss values. Switzerland is not only the most famous producer of watches. It’s related to habits of people and to a broad range of quality standards. For example, punctuality: When a train is delayed by 2 minutes in Switzerland, this is an event noticed by many people. Drivers can be trained accordingly!
Services beyond standard transportation:
We are a niche player created by “family and friends”. There is no intention to compete with the big players in terms of number of associated drivers. The difference starts with communication: There are very few taxi drivers in Kiev with basic knowledge of English. We can make an effort to find those few!
Furthermore, the founder realized that a niche player with focus on quality should offer a large variety of additional services. This starts by receiving clients at the airport with a name plate – at their request. Or offering tired business people what is needed for a power nap. Or helping clients to find attractive spots in Kiev.
